Rest in peace, Frankie.

I try to remember times we’ve had, things we’ve done, words you’ve said. My memory fails me yet again, I cannot remember a specific memory. Why you did what you did I will never understand in this lifetime, only when we walk together in the kingdom of God and I can ask. It is comforting to know that whatever pain was hurting you is lifted from your shoulders, but at the same time a great weight has been placed on my heart. My heart breaks to see so much pain, so many tears. All of the lives you have touched would never be the same without you, and now will be forever changed in your leaving. I wish I could have been there for you in your time of need; I know we weren’t super close, but you were family. There is NOTHING I will not do for my family. My prayers will continue to be with your family, I will certainly talk to you from time to time, and above all, I will never forget you, Brother.
